A new start: new business model and product portfolio. Along with its new corporate branding, e-on software has taken a radical turn to the way your business operates. Based on comments and requests for your community, e-on has revised its structure full price and has replaced its upgrade programs and support with earlier date in favor of a grid of more coherent, modern, understandable prices and, more importantly, friendly to the budget.
The company now offers its applications through three 'solutions', each dedicated to a specific artist profile. The three solutions include a version of VUE and PlantFactory, together with additional benefits depending on the chosen solution:
Materials: VUE and PlantFactory are now fully compatible with the workflow PBR metal / Roughness and include a converter Specular metal / Roughness. Along with this new type of material, both products support the format natively material substance Allegorithmic. The solutions are sent to a set of materials ready for use, plus supplements Allegorithmic substance. The artists will benefit from a redesigned UV mapping algorithm for vegetation models, including the ability to export baked UV materials and maps Udim procedures.
Atmosphere and Clouds: praised as 'one of the most creative features that e-on has released in a long time' during the beta phase, the new converter to cloud technology allows artists to turn any 3D mesh in a cloud independent, fully volumetric. Users can finally texturized independent export 3D volumetric clouds and layers to other applications as standard volumes clouds OpenVDB industry. UX / UI: one of the most noticeable changes is the completely redesigned interface. All software icons were elaborated and homogenised in the principle that the software interface should never stand in the way of the creative freedom of the artist. many dialogues were modified, including a major makeover for the material editor, to improve the user experience. Gamma handling has been greatly improved to ensure compliance with linear workflows. Finally, the software licenses are now based on standard industry RLM library.
Plant Catalog: Enterprise Solution includes a new library vegetation-on procedures and updated regularly. These plants were designed by the internal botanical company, to ensure they are physically and botanically correct. The initial collection includes 20 species of vegetation greenfield sent both HD (high count polyethylene) and LD (poly-count footprint smaller), fully textured. These are not mere static models of vegetation. Each kind of procedure is an engine plant that can be used to create anything from the list vegetation for the game to blockbusters trees heroes: of course, each instance created is unique. Each species comes with a lot of presets, and each preset comes with age variations. Best of all, since this is procedural: the artists have access to all parameters and can customize.

If you're using Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista or 64-bit XP, you might need to turn off Data Execution Protection (DEP) for VuePrint.

VueSlide is a free utility for distributing slide shows on CD-ROM or floppy disk. To run VueSlide, put vueslide.exe on a CD-ROM or floppy disk along with a set of .gif, .jpg, and .bmp images. When you run vueslide.exe, it will play a slide show of these images, with a 5 second delay between images. If you put autorun.inf on a CD-ROM along with vueslide.exe, the slide show will automatically start when you insert the CD-ROM.
If you're having problems playing movies, you might first try installing Microsoft's latest Media Player - this installs some high-quality MCI drivers for a wide range of movie files. If you're still having problems playing AVI files after you do this, you might need a 'codec' (CODer/DECoder) for this type of AVI file.
